How Do Hybrid and Virtual Events Work?
Although it sounds very technical, the process behind hybrid events is quite simple. When you decide to deliver an event of this kind, you would first organise the live event as normal. We go through the normal process in organising a meeting on-site before moving on to discuss your individual requirements. This enables our team to set up the online platform as needed. Come the day of the event, our team arrive on-site to set-up the on-site event layout and the set-up of filming and virtual integration to ensure everyone can access the online event without any hiccups.
There are three types of Hybrid Meeting packages that Prifactor Technical specializes in.
These are a Video Conference, a Webinar and a Webcast. Let’s unpack each of these:
Video Conference
This is the most frequently used option, ideal for meetings with a small number of people on-site – up to 250 in the venue; and online attendees can be scalable on request.
Webinar
A webinar is an online seminar that turns a presentation into a real-time conversation from anywhere in the world. Webinars allow large groups of participants to engage in online discussions and share audio, documents or slides – even when they’re not in the same place as the meeting host or in the same room where the event or presentation is taking place.
Webcast
This is a tool that is rapidly growing among companies for marketing and other communication purposes. It is used to connect groups and share content regardless of geographical boundaries.
